How Ownerfi collects SMS consent

Ownerfi is operated by Ownerfi Inc. Buyers create an account at ownerfi.ai in two steps. Texting is optional: the SMS checkbox is unchecked by default, is separate from the Terms checkbox, and an account can be created without it. Only people who check it get listing alerts.

Ownerfi is a home search site, not a lead-generation or referral service. Texts are sent by Ownerfi only, about the buyer's own saved search. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never sold or shared with real estate agents, lenders, or other third parties.

Step 1: verify your phone (ownerfi.ai/auth)

By tapping Send Verification Code, you ask Ownerfi to text a one-time verification code to this number. Message and data rates may apply. This does not sign you up for any other texts.

Step 2: create your account (ownerfi.ai/auth/setup)

Name, email and city fields appear here.

After submitting

The account is created and the buyer lands on their dashboard of listings.

If they checked the SMS box, Ownerfi immediately texts this confirmation:

Ownerfi: You're signed up for new-listing alerts for your saved home search. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

If they left it unchecked, Ownerfi sends no alert texts. They can turn alerts on or off later in Settings.
